HPC Midlands is a new supercomputing initiative from Loughborough University and the University of Leicester, building upon the two institutions’ existing High Performance Computing (HPC) expertise and £1m in funding from EPSRC.
Soul of a New Machine
The key component of HPC Midlands is a new 3,000 core Sandy Bridge based supercomputer which is housed at Loughborough and made available to research and industry via the JANET network.
Supercomputing on Demand
Why make a huge capital investment in HPC when you can just pay for the capacity you need, when you need it? We can also offer you access to industry standard modelling software on flexible licensing terms.
